Profile:

Dr Ng studied Medicine in the United Kingdom and obtained his MBBS degree with Distinction in Clinical Sciences from St George’s Hospital Medical School, University of London in 2002. Following completion of basic surgical training and obtaining the MRCS (England) in 2005, he went on to advanced surgical training in Plastic Surgery as a Senior Clinical Fellow at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead before entering the London Pan Thames Plastic Surgery Training Programme.  He trained at St Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns in Chelmsford, St George’s Hospital and Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in London, UK.  These units provided him with broad and extensive training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Hand Surgery.  During this time, he obtained the FRCS in Plastic Surgery in 2012, completed an MSc with Distinction in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery at the University of London in 2013, and further honed his skills with Aesthetic Surgery Fellowships at the Wellington Hospital in London and McIndoe Surgical Centre in East Grinstead, UK.

Dr Ng has published peer-reviewed scientific journal articles in a wide range of specialty areas including microsurgery, skin cancer, burns, breast surgery and hand surgery. He has also attended and presented at numerous conferences internationally, and has been an invited chairperson at the International Congress of the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS). His clinical interests include general plastic surgery, microsurgical reconstruction for cancer and trauma, aesthetic surgery for the face, breast and body contouring, as well as ​hand ​surgery.
