Is there a cure for tinnitus?

I kept hearing noises and was diagnosed with tinnitus. I consulted an ENT speacialist and had a MRI scan and blood tests taken. All results were normal. I have difficulty concentrating when I am working. I also find it hard to fall asleep.

Are there any cures? Will TCM help in tinnitus?

Tinnitus is a description for noises heard in the ear. This is due to several possibilities.

The MRI and blood tests were done to exclude any growth in the brain or inner ear. As these were normal, the tinnitus that you are experiencing is likely due to other reasons such as noise exposure, blood flow abnormalities, previous drugs consumed or even for no obvious reasons.

Medications are often given, and may work in some instances. It would be recommended that you consult an ENT doctor for help.

TCM is unlikely to be of great help.
