Medical Technology
Raffles Hospital’s Clinical and Pathology Laboratory provides services in Biochemistry, Immunology, Haematology, Microbiology, Cytology and Histopathology. With its comprehensive range of services and team of professionally trained medical technologists, the Laboratory offers a conducive learning environment for a multitude of analytical laboratory techniques and understanding of clinical testing concepts.
The Laboratory offers clinical attachment for students majoring in biomedical science from various polytechnics to provide them hands-on practice on topics ranging from blood disorders (Haematology), bacteriology and parasitology (Microbiology) and organ function and diseases (Biochemistry/Immunology).

Radiography
The Radiology Department offers an expanding range of imaging modalities which provide a rich resource for clinical attachments and training on advanced modalities.
The team comprising senior and experienced radiographers provides clinical attachments for Radiography Diploma students from Nanyang Polytechnic, as well as structured educational programmes to meet the learning needs of radiographers working in the specific modalities and other healthcare professionals working in a radiation environment. The Department also conducts training for radiographers on advanced imaging modalities such as ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
