Raffles Dental offers a range of training programmes that address current practices and standards in today’s oral health care environment. Our training lectures and workshops are conducted by our experienced clinicians, many of whom are passionate about teaching and are actively involved in giving lectures and training both locally and internationally.
Journal Club
The journal club sharing session serves as both an educational experience and an exchange of real examples of the application of the principles and practices of evidence-based dentistry. The journal club sessions are held once in every two months. It is held in a debate style format that allows participants to critically appraise the evidence for its validity and usefulness, and apply the results of this appraisal in clinical practice as appropriate.
Training and Supervision of Conditionally Registered Dentists
Raffles Dental provides training for conditionally registered dentists to prepare them for full registration with the Singapore Dental Council. Under the training programme, conditionally registered dentists are attached to the dental clinics and provide consultation and management of patients under the direct supervision of the senior dentists. The training is complemented by in-house professional lectures conducted by specialists in different dental disciplines to update them on their clinical knowledge
