Your doctor will at an appropriate time advise you when you may expect to be discharged from the hospital.
Discharge Planning
As part of our total patient care service, your nurse will work with you and your family members to plan for your continuing care after discharge.
Before you leave, your nurse will provide you with the following:
- Medication prescribed and advice on its use
- Follow-up appointment with your specialist or GP
- Self-care information or instructions, where necessary
- Medical Certificate, if necessary
Your nurse may arrange other referrals for care arrangements or follow-up treatment, if necessary.
Billing and Payment
You are required to settle your hospital charges in full before leaving the hospital. Our Business Office staff located at Level 8 or 9 will attend to you for payment of your hospital bills. Accepted modes of payment include cash, NETS, and major credit cards.

Medical Report and Insurance Claim Form
If you are making claims from your insurance company and/or require a medical report, please inform your specialist or the clinic nurse prior to your admission. Administrative charges will be applicable for the issuance of medical reports.
Check-Out Time
The hospital’s check-out time is 12pm. Should you need to extend your stay till 5pm on the same day, a half-day room charge will be applicable. Rooms occupied beyond 5pm will be charged at the full day rate.
For your safety, we advise that you have a relative or a friend to accompany you home.
