Neurodevelopmental and behavioural disorders
Dr Chitra Ramalingam graduated from the Madras Medical College, India in 2000. She obtained her MRCPCH (UK) in 2004 and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK). She completed her Specialist paediatric training in UK and has worked as a Specialist in Paediatric Medicine and Developmental Paediatrics at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton, UK for 6 years.
She has been practicing as a consultant doing assessments for children with developmental delay, speech and language delay, learning problems, behavioural problems, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autistic spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental problems. She is also experienced in the management of common childhood illnesses, vaccinations and general paediatric conditions including asthma, eczema, constipation, enuresis and sleep difficulty.
Dr Chitra’s main areas of interests are neurodevelopmental and behavioural disorders.
