Dr Lee is a Specialist in Internal Medicine with over 20 years of clinical experience. He attained his MBBS from the University of Sydney (1996), MRCP (UK) in 2004, and Certificate of Specialist Accreditation (Internal Medicine) in 2007. Subsequently, he went for training in Bioethics at the University of Sydney in 2008, and was conferred Master of Bioethics (Honours) in 2009. In addition, his clinical achievement has been recognised and was awarded FRCP (Edinburgh) in 2015.
Prior to joining Raffles Hospital, Dr Lee has worked as a Consultant in Internal Medicine at SGH since 2010. During his tenure in SGH, he has provided comprehensive holistic care to his patients in a patient-centric manner. He has worked collaboratively with primary family physicians, surgeons and other subspecialty specialists (such as Interventional Cardiologist) in providing good care to the patients at SGH. He was awarded Service with a Heart from SGH (2010, 2012 and 2015).
Dr Lee was an Adjunct Assistant Professor for Duke-NUS, a Clinical Senior Lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Clinical Core Faculty member for Singhealth Residency Program, and Core Faculty for Postgraduate Year 1 (Internal Medicine). In addition to Internal Medicine, his areas of interest while at SGH include Bioethics. He had served as a member for bioethics committee for both SGH and Sengkang General Hospital.
