Profile:

Dr Low is a specialist in respiratory medicine. He graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland with an honours degree and completed his dual certificate of completion of specialist training in Ireland in General Internal Medicine and Respiratory Medicine. He subsequently obtained his Doctorate of Medicine by research from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

Prior to joining Raffles Hospital, Dr Low was a Respiratory Physician and Senior Consultant in the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine at Changi General Hospital. As a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland and Academy of Medicine Singapore, he was appointed senior clinical lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS, physician faculty at SingHealth PGY1 Residency, core faculty at SingHealth Respiratory Medicine, and past associate program director at SingHealth Respiratory Medicine. He has also been awarded the SingHealth Excels (RiSE) award in 2014/2015, 2016/2017 and Changi General Hospital Best Educator Award Medical-Postgraduate (Residency). In addition, he has published several peer-reviewed manuscripts and remains a key reviewer for many high impact peer-reviewed journals.
