Dr Mishra graduated from Nagpur University in India and did his basic medical training in Cardiff (UK), before obtaining his MD and MRCP (UK) in 2005. He was selected in the National training scheme for specialist training in Endocrinology and General Medicine at the London Deanery and obtained his certificate of completion of specialist training in Endocrinology and General Medicine at the Kings College Hospital in London, in 2011.
Dr Mishra worked as a consultant in Endocrinology at North Bristol NHS Trust before moving to Singapore in January 2012. Prior to joining Raffles Hospital, he was a consultant in the Department of Endocrinology at KTPH. He has been actively involved as a principal and sub investigator in DSRB approved prospective and retrospective research. He was appointed as a clinical lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS and in the past few years, been awarded with teaching excellence awards.
Dr Mishra’s area of special interest includes overweight and obese type 2 diabetes, metabolic (bariatric) surgery for type 2 diabetes, sexual dysfunction in diabetes, pituitary, thyroid, adrenal disorders and reproductive endocrinology.
