Ms Sheilagh Anderson obtained her Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy from Aberdeen School of Physiotherapy, Scotland and she is a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. She underwent post-graduate certification in Peripheral Manipulation, and training in Biokinetic Pilates,Trigger Point Dry Needling and Kinesiotaping.
Co-founder and Director of the Hong Kong based company Sports Physiotherapy International (SPI), Ms Anderson has provided physiotherapy services to elite athletes at tennis, golf, cricket, badminton, field hockey, distance running, swimming and rugby sporting events worldwide. On behalf of SPI she set up the physiotherapy services for International SOS clinics in China in 1999.
Prior to that Sheilagh worked in the Channel Islands and New Zealand before moving to Hong Kong where she spent several years working in and managing physiotherapy departments in local hospitals. She was then a lecturer and clinical educator in Physiotherapy at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University for 10 years.
She is fluent in English and speaks basic Cantonese.
