Dr Bakr Rabie obtained his Certificate of Proficiency in Orthodontics, Master of Science, and PHD from Northwestern University, USA. He is a Fellow of Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (Dental Surgery), a Fellow of College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong (Orthodontics) and has a Fellowship in Dental Surgery and hominem of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Dr Rabie was the Postgraduate Programme Director in Orthodontics, the Founder and Convener of Biomedical and Tissue Engineering Research, and the Director of the Centralized Research Laboratories, Faculty of Dentistry, at the University of Hong Kong. He is an examiner in the Specialty of Orthodontics at the College if Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong, and examiner for the Conjoint Examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Dr Rabie is currently a Professor of Orthodontics in the faculty of Dentistry at the University of Hong Kong.
He is fluent in English and Cantonese.
