General cardiology, cardiac arrhythmia and cardiac interventional therapy including cardiac electrophysiology study, catheter ablation and cardiac resynchronisation therapy
Dr Abdul Razakjr is a Cardiologist. He was previously consultant cardiologist and Clinical Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing (EPS) in National University Heart Centre, Singapore. He is currently Adjunct Assistant Professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He is also visiting consultant to National University Heart Centre, Singapore.
Apart from teaching medical students and EPS fellows, Dr Razakjr has been invited as lecturer and faculty for local and international cardiology meetings. He was also involved in scientific research, focusing particularly on issues related to cardiac arrhythmia and sudden cardiac death. He is currently the Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Medical Association (SMA) and member of the board of trustee of Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
Dr Razakjr's clinical practices include general cardiology and cardiac arrhythmia, particularly clinical conditions like palpitation, fainting and sudden cardiac arrest. He performs cardiac catheterization study and interventional therapy inclusive of minimally invasive cardiac electrophysiology study, radiofrequency catheter ablation and implantation of pacemakers and cardioverter defibrillators.
