Job Responsibilities
The candidate will provide leadership in project management, designing, planning and implementing Information Technology (IT) infrastructure for computer-based solutions to serve end users. The candidate will be responsible for IT infrastructure technology evaluation to ensure relevance of technology within the organisation.
• Plan, organise and control analysis of assigned functional area requirements
• Develop policies and procedures for project management, implementation and maintenance of assigned areas
• Liaise with vendors and government agencies (eg Ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China, National Audit Office) where necessary
• Responsible for IT technology evaluation
• Manage Datacenter, Server, Network and Deskside Infrastructure
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• Minimum 5 years of experience in coordination and implementation of computer and peripheral systems, including project management, planning, specifications development, purchasing, installation, training, trouble shooting and maintenance.
• Knowledge and / or experience in the following areas:
– Datacenter management
– Network administration including knowledge of TCP / IP, network security, structured cabling
– Server administration including knowledge of Windows Server 2008 and above, including Active Directory and Exchange
– Virtualization technology including VMWare and / or Microsoft Hyper-V
– Storage Area Network (SAN) technology
– Cybersecurity including antivirus, anti-spam, firewall
– Deskside administration
• Vendor management experience
• Good command of English and Mandarin
• Willing to be based in Chongqing for 2 years
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent certification desired
