Raffles Medical Group (RMG) is a leading integrated private healthcare provider in the region offering a suite of comprehensive services ranging from primary to tertiary care. It is also the first in Asia to join the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
The Board believes that this report provides a reasonable and transparent presentation of the Company’s strategy and its Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) performance. This report recounts the Group’s activities for the year 2018 and focuses on four key pillars, namely our Customers, Employees, the Environment and the Marketplace. The report has been prepared in conformance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards: core option, the latest set of standards issued by the GRI Global Sustainability Standards Board (GSSB). The report covers the ESG performance of all business divisions and subsidiaries under RMG. All information presented here is extracted from primary internal records and documents to ensure fidelity using internationally accepted benchmarks.
We begin the reporting cycle with a review of the material aspects and their boundaries. Priority issues are given extra attention and reflect business environmental changes, stakeholder’s feedback and sustainability trends.

Singapore is a small nation with limited water resources and currently relies on purchasing water from neighbouring country while working towards the goal of water self-sufficiency. RMG is cognisant of the pressing need for water conservation. In a bid to do our part in reducing our environmental footprint and lessening energy cost, RMG endeavours to:
