RMG has been appointed by the National Resuscitation Council since 2001 as a training centre for Standard First Aid, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) programme. This program equips participants with the essential techniques in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
In Singapore, heart disease is the second commonest cause of death, being responsible for about 24% of total mortality. About 2,400 persons develop an acute heart attack. The total survival rate for the group of pre-hospital collapses is only about 2.6%.
One of the most startling ideas of modern medicine is that “sudden death” can actually be reversed.
The actions taken during the first few minutes of an “Emergency” are critical to victim survival. It can be performed by any of us, anywhere. All that is needed are our hands.
With these many years of experience in organizing lifesaving training programmes and partnerships with clients in customizing the programmes to their individual needs, one can be rest assured that the training we conduct will prepare one more than adequately in facing these situations.
RMG is able to conduct structured training programmes, with customisation as required, for our corporate clients and other organisations.
