Responsibilities

The candidate will head the business and operations of the hospital in partnership with the Medical Director. The key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Ensure efficient organisation and administration of all Hospital activities and ensure the provision of quality patient care to patients
  • Ensure compliance of legislative requirements and government guidelines that affect the Hospital policies and procedures
  • Determine strategic direction and planning in consultation with head office
  • Ensure financial effectiveness and budgetary control
  • Direct the teams in operations, marketing, patient service and all support functions
  • Grow and develop clinical services in the Hospital together with the Medical Director 

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration / Health Care Management
  • At least 10 years of management experience, of which a minimum of 5 years in Hospital Administration as a Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer or Division Manager in a small or medium acute care hospital
  • Prior experience in the set-up of hospital or medical facilities would be an advantage
  • Excellent business acumen, strong with financial discipline
  • Strong leadership, driver, team-builder and high integrity
  • Willing to be based in Chongqing for 2 years
  • Good command of English and Mandarin

Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, the candidate is responsible for providing business and operational leadership and support to all areas under Ambulatory Operations.

  • Induct new specialists to the Hospital’s practice and programmes for helping specialists develop and grow their practice
  • Implement operational processes to achieve seamless, hassle-free, and value add patient service and care
  • Develop systems and practice standards to enhance work and quality of patient care
  • Develop policies and procedures to support clinical and administrative management of the Division
  • Develop new services, programmes and packages
  • Support the marketing department in promoting ambulatory services 

Requirements

  • Degree in Management Studies or equivalent
  • At least 10 years of hospital management experience with demonstration of strong leadership ability in an acute care hospital
  • Prior experience in  setting up of hospital or medical facilities would be an advantage
  • Willing to be based in Chongqing for 2 years
  • Good command of English and Mandarin

Responsibilities

The candidate will provide managerial leadership to ensure efficient operations and effective patient care and service in the OT suite. The candidate shall plan, develop and implement strategies and programmes to achieve the highest standards in clinical, operational, financial and service quality.

  • Establish and develop strategies, short, medium and long term goals and action plans for development of the units and to support organisational goals
  • Responsible and accountable for the quality of the total nursing process; eg planning, implementation, control and evaluation of patient care in the units
  • Establish, develop and implement the structure and processes to support quality clinical practice, and performance measures against standards and benchmarks
  • Plan and recruit skills required for professional and efficient operations of the unit
  • Undertake performance management of staff by directing, motivating, developing and counselling staff where appropriate in their performance towards clinical and operational excellence
  • Plan, manage and evaluate the unit’s budgets and financial performance and indicators

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing
  • At least 5 years of management experience in OT with demonstration of strong leadership ability in an acute care hospital
  • Prior experience in setting up of hospital or medical facilities would be an advantage

  • Formulate, implement and review distribution policies to ensure goods are distributed to all users in a timely and cost-effective manner and meeting users’ needs and expectations
  • Implement and review regularly departmental work processes and procedures for compliance to the organisation’s quality management policies and standards
  • Source and build a network of qualified suppliers for the Hospital and other business units
  • Local lead for RFQ or tender processes
  • Perform annual vendor performance evaluation and develop long-term business relationships with vendors to achieve organisational goals
  • Provide leadership, guidance and appropriate training to all staff so that their productivity and potential can be maximised to achieve department and organisation’s goals 

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) or Bachelor of Pharmacy with minimum 5 years of relevant healthcare experience at a supervisory level
  • Meet regulatory requirements to practise as a Pharmacist in People’s Republic of China
  • Proficient in Purchasing / Inventory System and Microsoft Office
  • Strong purchasing, negotiation and communication skills
  • Effective people leadership skills
  • Willing to be based in Chongqing for 2 years

The candidate will be responsible for application software technology evaluation to ensure relevance of technology within the organisation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
  • At least 5 years of experience implementing, maintaining, and managing electronic Business Application Systems, Hospital Information Systems and Clinical Application Systems in China
  • Possess strong hands-on programming experience in Microsoft C#, Java, MS SQL Server and Oracle database
  • Vendor management experience
  • Effective people leadership skills

Responsibilities

The candidate will provide leadership in project management, designing, planning and implementing Information Technology (IT) infrastructure for computer-based solutions to serve end users. The candidate will be responsible for IT infrastructure technology evaluation to ensure relevance of technology within the organisation.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and / or experience in the following areas:
    • Datacenter management
    • Network administration including knowledge of TCP / IP, network security, structured cabling
    • Server administration including knowledge of Windows Server 2008 and above, including Active Directory and Exchange
    • Virtualization technology including VMWare and / or Microsoft Hyper-V
    • Storage Area Network (SAN) technology
    • Cybersecurity including antivirus, anti-spam, firewall
    • Deskside administration
  • Vendor management experience
  • Good command of English and Mandarin
  • Willing to be based in Chongqing for 2 years

Responsibilities

The candidate will process monthly payroll for foreign and local employees in China. He / she will also manage the full spectrum of HR functions which includes:

  • Staff recruitment and interview
  • Foreign employees' work permit and visa application, extension and cancellation
  • Staff onboard orientation and exit interview
  • Staff annual performance review
