Dr Kieu is the Deputy Director of Raffles Dental, managing the operations and business development of Raffles Dental.

He is also the Physician Leader of the East Cluster of clinics where he provides clinical leadership, guidance and training to dentists and assistants to deliver optimal patient care. He currently is the Chairman of the Raffles Dental Equipment and Materials Committee, a member of the Raffles Dental Audit and Credentialing Committee and Raffles Hospital Quality Committee.

Dr Edgar Kieu obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore. He was the winner of the prestigious Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Award in NUS and the team leader of the team that won first prize at the NUS Faculty of Dentistry Research Day. The team subsequently went on to represent the faculty at the International Association of Dental Research SEA Division Junior Category.

During his bond, Dr Kieu worked as a dental officer at NHG Polyclinics before becoming the Deputy Head / Acting Head of Dental Services, overseeing the management of a 9 chair general dentistry practice and the training of Dental Officers posted to the Polyclinic.

Dr Edgar Kieu was awarded the NHG Polyclinics SPARKLER Award for Service Excellence, NHG Polyclinics Service Excellence (SPARKS) Award and Raffles Medical Group’s Chairman’s Service Excellence Award.

Dr Kieu has been extensively featured in a variety of television and print media including Channel News Asia and The Straits Times, covering issues related to oral health.

Dr Adrian Ain graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2012. After his graduation, he served in the public sector for three years in Malaysia before joining Raffles Dental in 2016. He attended to the needs of subsidised patients and honed his skills to confidently manage patients of all age groups and demographics.

Dr Adrian was also passionately involved in community programs during his stint in the public sector. As the head of the Oral Cancer and Tobacco Cessation committee for Kemaman, a district in Terengganu, Malaysia, Dr Adrian travelled to rural areas in Malaysia to raise the awareness of detecting oral cancer early.

During his undergraduate days, Dr Adrian was actively involved in research and his final year research was published in the New Zealand Dental Journal in June 2014 as the featured article. 

Dr Adrian is an active member of the Singapore, Malaysia and New Zealand Dental Association.

Dr Arthur Lim graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the National University of Singapore in 1998. Thereafter, he was awarded a scholarship to a 3-year orthodontic programme, and obtained a Masters in Orthodontics. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh after completion of his specialist training, and he is on the Singapore Dental Council Specialist Register and the Academy of Medicine Roll of Specialists.

Dr Lim is currently a visiting consultant at Raffles Dental and a senior lecturer and examiner for the Post-graduate School of Dental Studies at the National University of Singapore. He is involved in training postgraduate orthodontic students, and also serves on the Singapore Dental Council Dental Specialist Accreditation Committee.

Dr Lim has held major leadership roles in the Executive Committee of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore). He is a member of the World Federation of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists.  He has won numerous awards for his research. These include the Craniofacial Biology Award at the 2002 International Association of Dental Research Division Meeting in Hong Kong, First Prize at the National University of Singapore Faculty Research Day, and Best Poster Prize at the National Dental Centre Annual Scientific Meeting. His research has been published internationally, and he has also presented at numerous local and international conferences.

Dr Arthur Lim practises a wide scope of orthodontics for children and adults and is skilled in a variety of techniques including lingual orthodontics and Self-ligating (Damon, Smatclip, InOvation) bracket systems.  He is also a certified Invisalign and provider.

Dr Benjamin Yap obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Singapore from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2013. During his undergraduate days, Dr Yap was meticulous in his studies and was put on the Dean’s List in 2012. As a final year dental undergraduate, Dr Yap was part of a research team that was selected to represent NUS Faculty of Dentistry in the GC Student Prevention Table Clinic Competition 2013 held in Bangkok, Thailand. His team won the Bronze medal in the competition. 

After his graduation, Dr Benjamin Yap served in the public sector for close to 3 years prior to joining Raffles Dental. He attended to the needs of both subsidized and private patients in Hougang Polyclinic for a year and honed his skills to confidently manage patients of all age groups. Dr Yap then spent close to 2 years serving in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), ensuring that SAF personnel were dentally fit for deployments. During which, he was exposed to more complex dental procedures such as oral surgical cases. 

Dr Yap believes firmly in continuing dental education. He participates in both local and overseas conferences in order to update his skillset and provides his patients with the most updated and holistic dental experience. Dr Yap also believes in the old saying that prevention is better than cure. He establishes good rapport with his patients to instill the right oral hygiene habits, and works with them to prevent dental diseases.

Dr. Emmanuel Taylor is an U.S.A. trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Dr. Taylor graduated from The University of California San Francisco with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Dr Janee Lim graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1999. Following two year in general dental practice at the National Dental Centre, she was awarded a scholarship and went on to complete a three- year residency in Orthodontics. In the second year of her training, she was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

In 2004, she successfully obtained her Masters of Dental Surgery and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Upon completion of her Advanced Specialist Training in 2007, she was admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore Roll of Specialists (Orthodontics). She is presently registered with the Singapore Dental Council as a Dental specialist in Orthodontics.

Dr Lim has served in the Executive Committee of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore). She is also a member of the World Federation of Orthodontists and Singapore Dental Association.

She has presented her research at numerous local and international conferences including 2003 International Association of Dental Research Division meeting in Vietnam, 2004 European Orthodontic Society Congress in Prague and 2005 American Association of Orthodontics Conference in Nevada.

After practising general dentistry for two years at National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) and at Changi General Hospital, Dr Sng went on to pursue his interest in the Specialty of Prosthodontics. After completed three years of post-graduate studies, he graduated with a Master in Dental Surgery in Prosthodontics in 2009. In the same year, he was also admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh), having obtained his MRD RCSed Prosthodontics at the same time.

Upon completion of the Prosthodontic program, Dr Sng continued his practice of Prosthodontics at National Dental Centre Singapore. At NDCS, his passion for teaching saw him actively involved in giving lectures and training the artistry handwork of dental technician specialist trainees. He was an appointed lecturer and examiner to the dental technician specialist trainees as well. Dr Sng currently also teaches the university students in the Faculty of Dentistry in NUS.

A firm believer in rendering an uncompromising standard of care to all patients, Dr Sng was awarded the Singapore Health Quality Service Award in 2011.

Prior to joining Raffles Dental, Dr Lu had served as a Dental Officer for the Ministry of Health Holdings (MOHH), gaining invaluable experience through clinical postings at various institutions, namely Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Alexandra Hospital, Jurong Medical Centre, National Healthcare Group Polyclinics, and the Health Promotion Board.

At Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Dr Lu had worked closely with the medical division to manage the dental needs of medically-compromised patients, including patients from the National Neuroscience Institute, patients from the John Hopkins Singapore International Medical Centre, as well as inpatients on palliative care. Thereafter, she had gained proficiency in treating children while working closely with them at the Health Promotion Board, and had subsequently proceeded to practise Advanced General Dentistry at Alexandra Hospital.

Upon completion of her MOHH bond, Dr Lu had practised for a year in the private sector before going on to successfully complete the Primary Examination for the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, followed by her 3-year Basic Specialist Training at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), where she trained surgically under the internationally-acclaimed Professor Maurizio Tonetti, and was awarded Master of Dental Surgery in Periodontology with Distinction. It was the first Distinction awarded in the history of the HKU Master of Dental Surgery in Periodontology course.

She was also the recipient of The Hong Kong Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry Award (2016-2017), awarded annually to the postgraduate student who has demonstrated the best overall care to all cases concerned during the entire Master of Dental Surgery in Periodontology course. She is currently a member of the Singapore Dental Association.

Dr Nora Neng attained her undergraduate dental degree (B.D.S) in Singapore. With scholarships sponsored by both Germany and Singapore, she embarked on both her post-graduate clinical and research work in Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin. She was working in the department of “Parodontologie und Synoptische Zahnmedizin” for over 4 years. Upon her return to Singapore, she worked at the National Dental Centre as a Periodontist and a key clinician-scientist at SGH.

As a clinician, she adheres strongly to evidence-based dentistry. Her work philosophy is to strive for dental excellence and to provide the best welfare for her patients in achieving optimal oral health and function.

She continues to be actively involved in scientific research work. She has various international publications. Her awards include winner for Best PhD Dissertation in Periodontology (Germany Periodontology Society), winner for best research presentation by the International Association of Dental Research (Europe) and Clinician Scientist Award (Singapore General Hospital).

She also strongly believes in contributing to the dental fraternity. She is immensely involved in executive committee of the Singapore Periodontology Society and is an active member of the Singapore Dental Association.

Dr Sapphire Gan obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2005 and was awarded to be on the Dean’s List in her final year. For three years, she provided general dentistry services to the community at School Dental Services, Singhealth Polyclinics and National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS). Dr Gan then went on to pursue her interest in the Specialty of Prosthodontics in National University of Singapore. During her prosthodontic residency, she was given the opportunity to deepen her knowledge in the field of prosthodontics through short exchanges in the New York University College of Dentistry, the renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, and University of Michigan School of Dentistry.  In 2012, she graduated with a Masters in Dental Surgery in Prosthodontics from NUS and a Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dr Gan continued her practice of Prosthodontics at NDCS for another few years. Aside from providing clinical service, she was also actively involved, both as lecturer and examiner, in the education of dental technician, dental surgery assistants and dental therapist trainees.  Dr Gan is a member of Singapore Dental Association and Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
