Profile:

Dr Arthur Lim graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the National University of Singapore in 1998. Thereafter, he was awarded a scholarship to a 3-year orthodontic programme, and obtained a Masters in Orthodontics. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh after completion of his specialist training, and he is on the Singapore Dental Council Specialist Register and the Academy of Medicine Roll of Specialists.

Dr Lim is currently a visiting consultant at Raffles Dental and a senior lecturer and examiner for the Post-graduate School of Dental Studies at the National University of Singapore. He is involved in training postgraduate orthodontic students, and also serves on the Singapore Dental Council Dental Specialist Accreditation Committee.

Dr Lim has held major leadership roles in the Executive Committee of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore). He is a member of the World Federation of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists. He has won numerous awards for his research. These include the Craniofacial Biology Award at the 2002 International Association of Dental Research

Division Meeting in Hong Kong, First Prize at the National University of Singapore Faculty Research Day, and Best Poster Prize at the National Dental Centre Annual Scientific Meeting. His research has been published internationally, and he has also presented at numerous local and international conferences.

Dr Arthur Lim practises a wide scope of orthodontics for children and adults and is skilled in a variety of techniques including lingual orthodontics and Self-ligating (Damon, Smatclip, InOvation) bracket systems. He is also a certified Invisalign and provider.
