Get Better-Looking Skin with Ultherapy

Ultherapy is a non-invasive aesthetic treatment that lifts and tightens your skin. As you age, the collagen fibres supporting your skin wears out and loses its elasticity. This, together with the toll of environmental factors, may cause your facial features to sag and lose its youthful vigour over time. You may notice jowls forming, your neckline sagging, and the furrows between your cheek and nose deepening.

Ultherapy, can help to restore your skin’s brilliance and features. Make an appointment to find out how it can benefit you.

How Does Ultherapy Work?

Unlike radiofrequency or laser treatments that work on the skin surface; ultherapy targets the collagen-rich skin layer supporting the facial muscles, also known as the Subcutaneous Musculo-Aponeurotic System (SMAS).

Ultrasound energy will be delivered to the treatment site, to stimulate collagen production and strengthen weak collagen. Ultherapy also uses ultrasound imaging to visualise the tissue layers during treatment. This enables ultrasound energy to be directed precisely and safely to problem areas, maximising its benefits.

Ultherapy is most effective for:

  • Lifting sagging cheeks and loose skin under the chin and neck
  • Reducing the appearance of laugh lines and marionette lines
  • Lifting drooping eyebrows
  • Tightening the skin

As ultherapy is a non-invasive treatment, no incisions or cuts are required, and the skin surface will not be affected. You will experience minimal or no downtime and can resume daily activities immediately after treatment.

Who is Suitable for Ultherapy?

The effectiveness of ultherapy varies among individuals. All patients will be assessed by our medical specialists (dermatologists and plastic surgeons) during their initial visit before a personalised treatment plan is proposed. In general, the effects of ultherapy is most noticeable in those with visibly sagging or loose skin, especially in areas such as the eyelids, brow line, neck, and under the chin. For some patients, ultherapy may work better when done together with other aesthetic treatments.

What to Expect During Ultherapy

Each session usually takes around 90 minutes, depending on the area treated. As you may experience slight soreness during the procedure, numbing cream is applied to your face beforehand to reduce any discomfort. While some may notice initial effects immediately after treatment, most will start seeing results after one to three months, when the collagen produced has taken effect on your skin.

Most people will require a single treatment session. However, in certain individuals, a touch-up treatment session or a combination of different treatment methods may be necessary.
