Profile:

Dr Anita Menon is a Specialist in Paediatric Medicine with a special interest in paediatric infectious diseases. She graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completed her postgraduate specialist training in Paediatrics in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Dr Menon is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, United Kingdom, as well as the Faculty of Paediatrics, Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.

Prior to returning to Singapore in 2007, Dr Menon was a consultant with a special interest in paediatric infectious diseases at The Children’s University Hospital, Temple Street, and Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, in Dublin, Ireland. She subsequently joined KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital as a consultant with the Infectious Disease Service. With over 30 years of clinical experience in paediatrics, Dr Menon was also previously Director and Senior Consultant at Dr Anita’s Kids Clinic for a decade prior to joining Raffles Hospital.

Dr Menon is a member of several professional societies, including the European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases, Infectious Diseases Society of America, and the Singapore Infectious Diseases Society.

Dr Menon’s clinical expertise includes the management of paediatric infectious diseases, common childhood illnesses. She also provides routine childhood immunisations, developmental assessments, travel vaccinations, international school entry and sports assessments, as well as adoption medical examinations and assessments. Dr Menon is fluent in English and Mandarin and is conversant in Hakka and Cantonese.
