Profile:

Dr Devin Tan is a Specialist in Emergency Medicine. He graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2008. He attained his Masters in Emergency Medicine from The College of Emergency Medicine in 2013 and subsequently completed his specialist training in Singapore.

Under Ministry of Health’s residency program, Dr Tan rotated through the surgical, medical, burns, neuro and cardiac Intensive Care Units in Singapore General Hospital. Dr Tan is well versed in emergency point of care ultrasound after receiving ultrasound competency from accredited SingHealth consultants in commonly used emergency department procedures including ultrasound guided central line placement, extended focused assessment with sonography in trauma, hepatobiliary scans and aorta ultrasounds. He is also a certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor.

Prior to joining Raffles Hospital, Dr Tan served as a Visiting Consultant to various local hospitals which include Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, Changi General Hospital and Seng Kang Hospital.
