Profile:

Dr Lieu is a Specialist in Paediatric Medicine. She has over three decades of experience practising in some of the most intense paediatric childcare environments in Singapore and around the world. Dr Lieu received her MBBS and Master of Medicine (Paediatric Medicine) from the National University of Singapore, and moved on to practise at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) and Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore, and the Royal Hospital for Children & Young People, in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

During her tenure as Associate Consultant at KKH, Dr Lieu was in charge of the paediatric care and high dependency wards. After leaving the public service, she started her own practice at Baby N’ Kids Specialist Clinic, where she served her patients for over 20 years. She has an ongoing interest in community paediatric care, and keeps abreast of the latest developments in the field via continuing professional training and networking.

Fluent in English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin, and Chinese dialects, Dr Lieu has spent time outside of her clinic volunteering her medical expertise in multiple overseas medical outreaches in China, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Thailand. She worked in concert with local volunteers and healthcare providers to bring care to the underprivileged and stateless members of these countries’ most rural communities.

Dr Lieu’s practice includes all areas of general paediatrics and adolescent medicine.
