Profile:

Cady graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2019 with a Bachelor (Hon.) of Clinical Speech and Language Studies. She is experienced in the assessment and management of swallowing and communication disorders in adults with complex medical and neurological conditions. She has worked across acute inpatient, rehabilitative, outpatient, and community settings, caring for a diverse caseload of patients, including geriatrics, oncology, neurology, intensive care, and neurosurgery.

She has a special interest in neurorehabilitation and dysphagia management, and is experienced in Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) to support assessment and rehabilitation planning. Cady is also certified in administering Lee Silverman Voice Treatment LOUD (LSVT LOUD) therapy. Her practice focuses on evidence-based, patient-centred care aimed at improving functional outcomes and quality of life.

In addition to clinical work, Cady is involved in multidisciplinary collaboration, staff and student education, as well as service improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
