Profile:
Physician Tan Weii Zhu graduated from the pioneer batch of the joint double degree programme in Chinese Medicine and Biomedical Sciences by Nanyang Technological University and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) in 2010. She was registered as a TCM Physician in the same year.
In 2011, Physician Tan was awarded a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council to continue her clinical training at BUCM’s affiliated Dongfang Hospital and Guo Yi Tang Outpatient Clinic, where she was attached to the rheumatology and other internal medicine departments.
Physician Tan graduated with a master degree in TCM in 2014 and has since been practising at Raffles Chinese Medicine. She is qualified to prescribe herbal medication and administer acupuncture, cupping and moxibustion treatment.
