Use Your Medisave for Approved Vaccinations

Under the National Adult Immunisation Schedule (NAIS), Singaporean adults aged 18 years and older can use their Medisave for approved vaccinations.

Raffles Medical clinics offer the recommended vaccinations. Prior to taking the vaccination, please consult with our doctor to find out which vaccinations are recommended, and if you are suitable for the vaccination(s).

Medisave limits apply. Recommended vaccinations differ for different target population groups.

Influenza

  • Persons aged 65 years or older;
  • Persons aged 18 years and older and receiving long-term aspirin therapy;
  • Persons who have chronic medical conditions such as diabetes mellitus, asthma, and heart disease;
  • Persons who are immunocompromised;
  • Persons receiving intermediate and long term care services;
  • Women at all stages of pregnancy.

1 dose annually

Pneumococcal
(Included under NAIS: 13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV13) and 23-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (PPSV23)

  • Persons aged 65 years or older

1 dose each of 2 vaccines

  • Persons aged 18 years and older with chronic illnesses such as chronic lung, heart, kidney or liver diseases and diabetes mellitus;
  • Persons who are immunocompromised or with other medical conditions

1 or 2 doses

Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
 (Included under NAIS:
Bivalent HPV vaccine (HPV2) and Quadrivalent HPV (HPV4) vaccine)

  • Females aged 9 to 26 years old

3 doses
(0, 1-2, 6 months)

Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (Tdap)

  • Pregnant women

1 dose per pregnancy
(16 – 32 weeks)

Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR)

  • Adults without evidence of immunity and/or prior disease

  • Adults without evidence of immunity and/or prior disease

FAQ​S

Am I allowed to use my Medisave for vaccinations under NAIS? 

From 1 November 2017, Medisave use is allowed for the recommended vaccinations for the relevant target population groups under the NAIS, at public healthcare institutions, Medisave-accredited GPs and private hospitals.

How much of my Medisave can I use?

Singaporeans will be able to use up to $400 of their Medisave per account, under the Medisave400 scheme.

Please check with our clinic staff before the vaccination if you wish to use your Medisave.

C​an I use my Medisave to pay for my family’s vaccinations?2

Yes, you can use your Medisave to pay for yourself, or your immediate family members, which include your spouse, children and parents.

​How do I know which vaccinations are suitable?

Please consult with our doctor prior to taking the vaccination, to find out which vaccinations are recommended, and if you are suitable.

Which clinics can I go to?

You can go to any Raffles Medical GP clinics for your vaccination(s). The vaccinations are also generally available at Medisave-accredited healthcare institutions.

Do I need to make an appointment?

An appointment is not necessary. However, do check with your preferred Raffles Medical clinic on the availability of the vaccinations prior.
