About the medication
This programme may include the self-administration of a prescription-only weight loss medication. This medication helps by suppressing your appetite and reducing calorie intake, supporting your weight loss journey.
Important Note:
- If you are under 18, we recommend a referral to our Paediatric and Endocrine specialists.
- If you are over 18 years old and your BMI falls into the overweight or obese category as below*, you may be eligible for the Weight Management Programme.
- Contraindications include pregnancy, personal or family history of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia (MEN), hypersensitivity to GLP1-RA and severe renal impairment (CKD stage 4 and above).
- Additional health checks may be needed to ensure the programme is right for you.
- The programme should be combined with an active lifestyle and a healthy diet.
- Results may vary among individuals.
