Profile:

Dr Sunny is a neurologist at Raffles Neuroscience Centre. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research in India in 2008. He then did his residency in internal medicine and senior residency in neurology at the National University Health System in Singapore. Dr Sunny attained his Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians in 2019, and completed his Specialty Certificate Examination in neurology at the Royal Colleges of Physicians in 2022. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and is credentialled as a Registered Physician in Neurovascular Interpretation by the American Society of Neuroimaging. He has also completed a six-month observership focused on neurophysiology in the Department of Neurological Sciences at Christian Medical College Vellore in India.

Dr Sunny was actively involved in academia, and is experienced in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, as well as medical training and research activities. His clinical interests lie in general neurology, stroke and related disorders, neurosonology, neurophysiology, and movement disorders.
