The collaboration allows us access to the latest Mayo Clinic knowledge and promotes physician collaboration that complements local expertise. Through shared resources, you can benefit by getting answers to complex medical questions while staying close to home.

We were selected to join the Mayo Clinic Care Network because we share a common philosophy, commitment and mission to improve the delivery of health care through high-quality, data-driven, evidence-based medical care and treatment. In addition, we have also passed Mayo Clinic’s rigorous review process based on quality, service and operational criteria.

Our doctors will have access to the latest Mayo Clinic expertise to use when treating you and your loved ones. These resources include:

  • eConsults – allows our doctors to connect electronically with Mayo specialists and subspecialists when they want additional input on your care.
  • AskMayoExpert - provides us with point-of-care Mayo-vetted information on disease management, care guidelines, treatment recommendations and reference materials for a variety of medical conditions.
  • eTumor Board Conferences - allow our doctors to present and discuss management of complex cancer cases with a multi-disciplinary panel of Mayo Clinic specialists and other network members.
  • Healthcare Consulting – allows Mayo Clinic to share their expertise through quality management improvement projects within the organisation.

We do not schedule patient appointments with Mayo Clinic through the Mayo Clinic Care Network. The network’s connection is between our doctors and Mayo Clinic. You can benefit from us working together to ensure you can receive the best care close to home.

Yes. Patient privacy is a priority, and we have safeguards in place to protect your health information. Anything shared with Mayo Clinic related to patient care, only with your consent, is sent through a secure electronic connection and remains confidential.

Our doctors will use this unique access to tap on Mayo Clinic’s knowledge and expertise to manage your care. eConsults are requested by physicians when they believe it will be helpful to their patients, such consultations with Mayo Clinic will be shared with you through your doctor.
