Palliative Care

Our team of doctors in Dr Lynette Ngo, Dr Ho Kok Yuen, Dr Choo Dee Pheng, Dr Hoo Kai Meng have in them many years of experience in rendering palliative care – pain and symptom control services to cancer patients.
Dr Lynette Ngo who has a post-graduate diploma in palliative medicine from Edith Cowan University in Australia, spent 5 years practicing palliative care in the community with home hospice and inpatient hospice before becoming a fully accredited medical oncologist.
Drs Choo Dee Pheng and Dr Hoo Kai Meng are family physicians who pursued their interest in palliative care by spending time in inpatient and home hospice teams after attaining their Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care from Flinders University.
Dr Ho Kok Yuen is a specialist in anaesthesiology. He completed a Pain Management Fellowship at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, USA. Dr Ho is the Clinical Director for Pain Management Service at Raffles Hospital.
Together with the nurses and other specialists within Raffles Hospital, we seek to integrate oncology and palliative services affirming our commitment to a philosophy of continuing seamless care and non-abandonment of our patients.
We commit to walking beside our cancer patients all the way by providing ambulatory and inpatient palliative care services around the clock 24/7, 365 days a year.
